New Sport RIB Boat – 36P1 Super Sport Rib Boats (0)

Published on Sun, 6/09/09 | Boat Finance

ribsmallThe Goldfish 36P1 Super Sport RIB will make its European debut when Salterns Boat yard, the sole UK distributor for Goldfish RIBS, showcases the RIB at this year’s Southampton Boat Show on Berth 530. The stunningly powerful, inboard engined RIB is known for its tremendous ability to maintain high speeds in heavy conditions, outlined recently when she won her class in the Round Britain Race also breaking the record for the fastest RIB around Britain, reaching incredible top speeds of 78 knots.

Hand built by the Norwegian team at Goldfish AS, the 36 incorporates industry leading design features, whilst being built with super tough Hypalon tubes and a lightweight glass fibre and carbon fibre hull to ensure her long term durability and value. Originally designed for the Norwegian Special Forces as a key weapon to combat pirates in the Gulf of Aden as part of the EU’s Operation Atlanta, there was a natural progression into racing due to her breathtaking speed and stability. The Goldfish 36 is now launched into the leisure market, providing an exceptionally fast and eye catching RIB which can be configured to meet the owner’s specific requirements.

The design of the Goldfish 36 incorporates superb attention to detail throughout allowing for continued high class performance even in the toughest of conditions. The central consol lets the driver stay in control of all aspects of the boat with ease, and along with the RIB’s 4 shock absorbing seats, helps ensure the comfort and safety of its passengers. Elevating the boats windscreen will allow the passengers to access the below deck area, which can be fitted for storage or overnight accommodation.

The unique hull design of the Goldfish 36 is particularly impressive, the hull’s low angle of attack and de-compressing zones allow for incredible handling and manoeuvring capabilities, whilst achieving top speeds of between 70 and 80 knots.

The RIB can be supplied in various configurations including leisure, commercial, military and also as a super yacht tender. There is a great deal of customisation available with both diesel and petrol engine’s available, and new boat owners can even choose their own personal colour scheme.

The Goldfish RIB range includes the 25’, 29’, 30’ and the new 36’, with the 36’ and the 29’ being displayed in the PSP Southampton Boat Show Marina berths 305 and 530.
