There are many destinations throughout the world which provide the ideal climate for boat owners, and when combined with a waterfront property, can provide the perfect lifestyle, either in retirement or for short term breaks between work. With more and more clients moving overseas I have been asked many times over the last two years to help guide people with suggestions and advice on where to look for the perfect property, from a boat owners perspective. Many of the contacts I have are with developers, so much of the news will be of new developments, both in or around the marinas throughout the world. However, I will also be considering some of the more establised locations with comments and suggestions for buying and owning property. All countries have their pros and cons and I hope that this regular blog will help in some small way with guiding your choices.
